Hiking at Vickery Creek in Roswell

Who: All Pack 268 Cub Scouts
When: Saturday at 11am.
What: Hiking
Where: Vickery Creek, Chatahoochee River National Recreation Area
Bring: Picnic Lunch. Six essentials (first aid kit, water bottle, flashlight, trail food, sun protection, and whistle for emergencies)
COST: FREE

We are planning a hike on November 11 at Vickery Creek in Roswell. We will meet at 11am and hike the easy-level, 2.2 mile loop that features a covered bridge and waterfall.

Please pack a lunch and we will plan to have a picnic around noon. Scouts should know to bring their six essentials (first aid kit, water bottle, flashlight, trail food, sun protection, and whistle for emergencies). Uniform is not required but if possible scouts should try and wear their hats and neckerchiefs. Also dress in layers as it may be chilly!
