Cub Scouts Calendar

We are planning an optional pack hike this coming Sunday, November 17 at 1pm.  We will meet at the visitor parking lot specified in address above. 

 

Indian Seats Trail leads to a beautiful overlook in Sawnee Mountain Preserve.  It’s a well-maintained family-friendly trail with some short steep sections, roots, and rocks along the way, but nothing too difficult to manage. It is only 1.5 miles there and back.  You will be rewarded with stunning views of the North Georgia mountains and some "peak" fall colors! 

 

Scouts should wear their class B uniforms, that is a den or other boy scouts t-shirt and hat.  Scouts should know to bring their six essentials (first aid kit, water bottle, flashlight, trail food, sun protection (hat), and whistle for emergencies). Also, it is November so please wear warm shoes and dress in layers!
